My Students

I teach 6-8 grade students with a range of conditions in a 12:1:1, self-contained classroom. My students are the best! They are smart, enthusiastic, and creative!

My students love to learn, explore, and are eager to immerse themselves in any challenge that comes their way.

They inspire me every day to be an exceptional teacher for them.

My Project

In honor of Black History Month, my school will be having a Science Fair celebrating black inventors. The Fair is on Friday, February 18th, 2022. Each class has been assigned a black inventor and their invention. My classroom is assigned: George T. Sampson, who invented the clothes dryer. The presentations include the following: a class book, a display poster, a 3D model, and activities.

As part of our presentation, we have to create a 3D model of the invention.

The goal is to have enough motors, batteries, wires, and more for each child to make their model and take the finished model home to show their families after the science fair.

To do so, I would need your help in getting the supplies required by the first week of February to create the 3D models in time for the Science Fair. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
