My Project

We are seeking a grant to purchase an Insignia Portable Clear Ice Maker with Auto Shut-off for our science classroom. This innovative appliance will revolutionize the way our students experience science, transforming abstract concepts into tangible, engaging learning opportunities. By creating clear ice directly in the classroom, we can unlock a world of exciting experiments and investigations, igniting a passion for scientific inquiry in our young learners.

The Insignia Portable Ice Maker provides a unique tool to:

Visualize abstract concepts: From observing crystal formation to studying density and buoyancy, students can witness scientific principles come to life right before their eyes.

Conduct engaging experiments: Design and execute experiments exploring phenomena like chromatography, freezing point depression, and the insulating properties of ice.

Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills: Students will learn to design experiments, troubleshoot issues, and analyze their findings, developing valuable scientific skills.

Promote collaboration and teamwork: Working together to create ice and conduct experiments fosters communication, cooperation, and a sense of shared discovery.
