My Students

My students are a very special group of children. Together, with my wonderful paraprofessionals, we are the Life Skills classroom on our elementary campus. Our children are from a variety of backgrounds. Many parts of our neighborhoods struggle, especially now. All of my students have survived Hurricane Harvey. Some of their families fared well, while others lost everything.

I passionately believe that all students have purpose and all have the ability to learn, including mine.

They can make a difference.

My Project

I'm already feeling excitement, thinking about the awesome projects our class can experience this year using these wonderful Stem items such as our kits:" Young Scientist Planets, Book Plus 5 Habitat Models, Earth Science Magic School Bus, and actually watching a Crystal Growing Tree!" My students are visual learners and are very much HANDS ON!

Although we are a Life Skills Classroom, my children desire to learn and become a part of the lesson just like any other child.

I am so proud of them! I want to create a learning environment that enables them to exceed expectations every year!
