Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is my first year and Kindergarten and I have noticed a difference in the supplies they need to be successful.

My students need dry erase markers to complete daily work like tracing penmanship, tracing all types of lines and writing words on their mini whiteboards.

We are also using a different system for organizing classroom library books. We have different genres in different bins and they need to be highly organized so they can successfully return books to the correct bins. The different color/shape coded stickers will help with this task.

They also need stamp pads and refillable ink for centers. They are stamping out high frequency words, and stamping letters and numbers.

The pencil pouches will be used to keep their supplies organized for use in the classroom and at home.
