Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in second grade and are curious and playful. This year, we need school supplies like books, ink, a storage case, mailbox, whiteboard and other resources like scissors, permanent markers, bleach wipes, tape, and a staple gun. My students deserve to have all the resources needed for them to learn and feel valued.

Studies show ample evidence that one of the major differences between poor and good learners is the difference in the quantity of the total time they spend engaged in learning and having access to resources needed.

All my students live in a poor area in the city. I want to give them the opportunity to experience a beautiful and fascinating world when they come to school. This way, we will be providing all students equal opportunities to learn and thrive.
