Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students do not get that much experience with financial literacy in school. Sure they buy books from a book fair, use lunch money, practice with money manipulatives, and have cash for field trips, but do they really understand buying and selling? This will help with that.

The use of these party favor items will allow students to purchase these items with Tiger Bucks.

We are a PBIS school. When students are caught doing something wonderful, they are given a Tiger Buck in turn, they can go to the "store" and purchase items. This is a great way to get all students involved in being respectful, and responsible, and get them to understand how money works, even if it is in the school building.
