Help me give my students the safe and comfortable space they need by provided fidgets for stress, water for hydration, tissues for crying, and cleaning supplies to avoid germs.

My Project

My students are in the 10th grade in a semi-urban community. Most of my students are being raised by one parent, foster parents, grandparents, or another family member. They come to the counseling office to escape and talk about their struggles, or just to sit and chat about nothing. Some students even come to sit quietly and decompress.

Seat cushions will allow the students to sit comfortably while breathing in the aroma of the essential oils and playing with fidgets and stress balls.

Hand sanitizer and stress-reducing lotion will also be available on the table as another way to calm down. Chocolate, candy, gum, and water will be offered to help reduce stress and relax. Following the visits with my students, it is important to keep the office sanitized with disinfection wipes and spray.

My goal is to make my students feel as safe and comfortable as possible when coming to my office. Please help me create a safe, and comfortable place for my students to come and be heard.
