My Project
Scholastic News articles will provide students access to grade-level non-fiction reading material weekly. My students enjoy learning about the world around them and keeping up to date with what is going on with the rest of the world. These magazines are engaging and allow students to meet grade-level expected skills in an interesting way.
As students explore what is currently happening in the world around them, they become critical thinkers!
With the variety of topics covered throughout the year, students will learn about current events both here in the U.S. as well as abroad. They will also read about our national holidays and other articles that connect the present to historical events.
