My Students

All of the amazing third graders at our school will benefit from Scholastic Magazine subscriptions! The topics that will be covered align with our standards include: Indigenous Peoples Day & History, Online Safety, Weather and Science, and many more.

Our school is a wonderfully diverse place to be and learn.

After a year of on-line learning, our students will enjoy being able to have their very own Scholastic Magazine. Getting these colorful, well-written magazines into our students' hands will be of help in the classroom and at home, as they get to keep them!

My Project

Scholastic magazines will help promote strong non-fiction literacy skills, help students understand the importance of diversity, inclusion, and multiculturalism.

Our Social Studies and Science standards are ever-changing and these magazines are meeting these new challenges as well.

The Scholastic Magazine Editorial Calendar includes subjects such as Indigenous Peoples Day, National Native American Heritage Month, Asian American and Pacific Islander Month, along with the more well-known Black and Women's History months. This helps our students see themselves in the articles, to know of their own history and each other's history too.
