Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students have every disadvantage imaginable. Even though we are located in the poorest area in the United States, I’m amazed at how our students persevere. Students come to school to receive a hot meal and shelter. We put in every ounce of effort to meet their specific needs.

Although students face many obstacles, our main goal is to have our students continue to expand their education by providing individualized learning opportunities in STEAM areas by providing opportunities through project based learning.

We set goals together and challenge them to meet and surpass those goals in order to become productive citizens in their school community.

We face a much larger obstacle as we navigate through virtual learning. With your help, I can offer my students better learning opportunities both online and in the classroom! We are expanding our coding and robotics outreach to inclusive for all students. With Space-X site close by, we can only imagine all the possibilities and opportunities we can offer our student in STEAM!

My Project

Our students use their organization folders and bags to come ready to learn by keeping track of their student materials. They get a lot of use, including wear and tear.

These products will help our students stay on track and practice organization skills in their class and at home when working on homework review.

No more lost pencils, erasers, or books! Students will be able to put away their items in their pencil pouches and bags. These items come in handy for students that are in need of replacement items for the second semester of school.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
