Help me give my students a canopy tent for shade, coolers for hydration and handwashing, a first-aid kit for injuries, a wagon for equipment transport, and safety pins for uniforms.

My Project

What we love most about our runners is their heart. Our second-year cross-country team is made up of just 13 dedicated athletes—6 boys and 7 girls, predominantly sixth graders—yet they line up every week against teams with 20–30 runners. They know they are outnumbered, but they never back down. They show up, work hard, encourage one another, and are learning what it means to compete.

Every resource will make a difference.

The canopy will give them a place to escape the oppressive heat and recover safely. The coolers will keep them hydrated and provide access to handwashing. The first-aid kit will help us care for injuries, while the wagon will make transporting equipment manageable. Safety pins will keep uniforms secure and competition-ready, and allow easy attachment of race day bibs. These may seem like small things, but for 13 young runners giving everything they have, they mean having the support they need to keep chasing their goals.
