This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have dedicated themselves to solving difficult science problems through self-exploration. They use Canvas on a daily basis to complete discussions, classwork, exit tickets, video questions, etc. However, their creative process has been limited because of lack of resources. They have ultimately expressed a great amount of interest solving Rubix cubes and now they want to create their own mosaics. It will be difficult at first because patience and grit will be key components, but they are up to the task. If a mosaic is created featuring the school, maybe they will gain recognition, for their academic success as well as their ingenuity.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
