My students need 2 rock kits and a magiscope to conduct investigations on rocks and minerals.

My Students

My students are from a rural area that doesn't get to take but one field trip a year. By allowing these children more materials, they would be able to explore right inside the classroom!

My fifth graders are vibrant, intellectual, and motivated kids who love to be challenged.

Since we are such a small school, they are limited to vital materials that would allow them to explore so many different details. They love hands-on activities that enable them to interact with each other.

My Project

By donating two rock kits and a magiscope, my students will be able to see all kinds of rocks and minerals. They will also be able to observe rock particles and discover how magnification increases the scale of an object. This would provide them a great lesson on rocks and minerals!

This project would allow my kids to experience a hands on activity, that would enable them to distinguish between various rocks and minerals.

They would be able to interact with each other and retain vital information. Thank you for supporting this project!
