This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Hutch and I teach 2nd Grade. It is a dream come true every day! I love going to work and getting to spend my day with such a great group of 2nd graders. Second grade, in my humble opinion, is the best grade to teach! Students at this age have an eagerness to learn. They are looking for as much information as they can get. We love learning together!

My Project

In these days of the pandemic resources for students at school and home are vital. Have emergency plans for the classroom preparing lessons for teachers who are absent and sending packets for students are necessary. Therefore, utilizing a TeacherPayTeacher gift card helps gather resources from home while quarantined for my students as well as gathering digital resources to send to my students while they are also quarantined making sure they don’t miss a beat. I can’t tell you enough how much this would help and be a blessing for my class.
