My Project

This is my first year at a new school teaching grades 1-5. My goal is to provide my students with opportunities and coding skills to increase team work, problem solving skills and an interest in STEM. My goal is to build confidence in my students while they are learning new skills. We will work on building coding skills, independence, persistence, communication, and teamwork.

The Snap Circuits Teach Tech Mech 5, Mechanical Coding Robotsm the Elenco Teach Tech Zivko The Robots and charging hub will introduce coding skills, programming, collaboration, and problem-solving skills which will give students the necessary scaffolding to continue building on their knowledge when they move on to middle school.

The resources I have chosen will help my students learn various coding skills (grades K-5) during the day and also during our morning and after-school robotics clubs. I want to motivate my students and give them a positive learning experience so they will enjoy coding and build a strong foundation.
