I teach art in two schools. This project our school provided the rug which allowed us to double our request for the pillows and clipboards for a full class set. This flexible and comfortable seating allows the students to draw closely to the promethean board while watching a tutorial. It also allows students the flexible seating during instruction time while utilizing the promethean board, etc. Not only does it allow for comfort but is an essential asset to the students that are visually challenged.\r\n\r\nWe began this yr with a read allow of The Dot by Peter Reynolds. Several students and faculty pointed out that our rug had dots on it which followed our school themed book for this year while others also notice how it had dots on it like our Kandinsky poster. The upper elementary grades then dug deeper into the uses of pointillism by Georges Seurat.\r\n\r\nWe are so appreciative of the many uses of these resources and how they have a positive impact on the growth of our student's art techniques and styles, cooperative learning, and innovative mindsets. \r\n\r\nWhen asked where we acquired such vibrant versatile products I proudly say from my Donors, Amazon, and DonorsChoose.\r\n\r\nThank you so much!","fullyFundedDate":1758636829187,"projectUrl":"project/drawing-art-center-extension-with-flexib/9514134/","projectTitle":"Drawing Art Center Extension with Flexible and Comfortable Seating","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mortzheim","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9919024"},{"teacherId":51713,"projectId":9815970,"letterContent":"Our students wanted to make a difference in other's lives and they did just that with this extremely important service project! \r\n\r\nWe were able to provide fire extinguishers, fire safety stickers, mini fire trucks and educational fire safety booklets to students, their families and community members. For example, one student who had rarely borrowed books before now comes in weekly to pick up the newest graphic novels and often asks when the next ones will arrive.
