My Project

I work in at a public magnet school with a STEM focus. I try to integrate science and technology into my classroom as much as possible. I have a lot of experience with teaching robotics after school, but I have never actually used it in my classroom with my first graders.

My goal for this school year is to use robotics daily in my math and reading centers and to teach computer science for 30 minutes a week.

By having two robots in the classroom, I will be able to teach robotics daily instead of borrowing equipment. This will help me to easily and effectively infuse computer science and STEM education into our lessons!
