My Project

Every day, my middle school math students work hard to solve challenging problems, collaborate with their classmates, and build confidence in their mathematical thinking. Many students learn best when they have the opportunity to move, yet traditional desks can make it difficult for them to stay focused during long class periods.

Standing desk conversion kits will provide my students with a flexible learning environment that encourages movement while keeping them engaged in instruction.

Research shows that allowing students to stand and shift positions can improve attention, reduce restlessness, and increase participation. These desks will give students a choice in how they learn, helping them stay comfortable and ready to tackle challenging math concepts.

By supporting active learning, these standing desks will help create a classroom where every student has the opportunity to stay focused, collaborate with peers, and develop the problem-solving skills they need to succeed in math and beyond. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on my students every single day.
