My students need comfortable seating option in the classroom. Too many students are being asked to sit in chairs for countless hours during the school day, and are expected to want to learn and be successful. Giving students choices not only promotes a positive classroom environment, but also helps students feel comfortable in their learning environment. If the classroom is an inviting space where students feel wanted and welcome, they will be more likely to want to focus and learn the content. Seating options will promote student engagement, student collaboration, and a willingness to come to school and be absent less.

About my class
