Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As fifth graders, my students are working hard to build independence and take charge of their own mornings. However, many face challenges getting a nutritious breakfast or accessing personal care items before the school bell rings.

When students arrive rushed, hungry, or feeling self-conscious, it is incredibly difficult for them to focus on academics.

With your support, we will set up a classroom "Morning Success Station." This project will fund quick, grab-and-go healthy breakfast options like whole-grain bars, alongside essential daily hygiene items like dental kits, and body wipes. By providing these basic resources directly in our classroom, we can eliminate morning stress, boost our students' confidence, and ensure every fifth grader steps into the school day fueled, fresh, and fully prepared to succeed.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
