My Project

This is my 16th year teaching at a Title I school. I love my students and want to see them succeed in school and in life.

I am always looking for ways to get my students excited about learning, which is why I need different prizes and rewards to add to my treasure box.

I want to reward my students for a job well done, whether that is getting 100% on a reading or math assignment or showing positive behavior in the classroom. I want them to take pride in their work and in themselves. My students get excited when I surprise them with a trip to the treasure box. They love the animal erasers, small squishies, and other little toys that I have. They have fun picking out the perfect prize. It's wonderful watching their faces light up as they sort through the rewards. Because they are working very hard, I constantly have to replenish my prize box. However, I don't mind because my students deserve a reward for a job well done.
