One memorable moment was watching a group of kindergarteners build an alphabet train, and showing how proud they were to be able to name each letter on the train! \r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their faces it up! Students who sometimes struggle to stay engaged were eager to build after storytime! My classroom is so calm and inviting when they enter the room because the lights are off, the astronaut lamp and other lamps are on, my LED lights are lit up around the room, and my Promethean board is playing calming music.\r\n\r\nThe Legos are also a big hit with all of my students. These are all things I needed for my classroom.
