I teach Pre-K at a Title I school. I'm always looking for ways to get my students excited about learning. It is thought that science is above the heads of our pre-k children, but this thought process is wrong. Some of the best pre-school activities are science-related. Preschool-age children are inquisitive and open-minded, so these activities are perfect for a young curious scientist. My kids are more than interested in exploring bugs, and so forth. Some of the activities that we plan to do inside of the classroom are making discovery tubes, lemon volcanoes, milk painting, and rainbow wizards brew, etc.
