Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life and spunk, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I ask them, "Are you ready?" and they reply, "We are ready!" I want them to know I believe in them, and they can do anything.

I teach at a high-poverty school in Northern California where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Despite many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so that they can be successful.

My Project

My students come to school each and every day and work their hardest. I love to honor and reward all their hard work. These items will not only motivate them to work hard but will also allow me to show them some love. My students are filled with excitement, motivation, a strong work ethic and fun. Their face lights up each and every day when they earn a ticket and even more when their name gets picked for a prize. There is nothing like the cheers at the end of the day when it is prize time.
