Not only does the weight help to calm wiggly kindergarten bodies the plush puppies are also calming to pet. Every day students take turns holding the puppies. Some student have began to recognize on their own when it is helpful to them to hold a puppy and ask to get one. This helps students also learn how to take turns.\r\nThe sensory tiles have also helped keep busy hands quietly moving during carpet time. The tiles offer multiple different sensory from soft and fluffy to smooth and bumpy. \r\nWhen the boxes arrived students couldn't believe that we were going to get to keep the puppies. Our school mascot is a bulldog so having puppies in our class is extra fun. \r\nThank you for your donation to our class.
