My students are fabulous this year and I would love to provide influential educational experiences for them. Due to the area I teach in we are unable to get supplies from parents or families and therefore I have attempted to buy all of the materials I can myself. My students deserve more than I can possibly give them, but I do all that I can everyday. They have all individually found interest in specific books and authors. More than half of them have raised their reading levels by two years in only 7 short months. They like to check out books, but our school library is lacking. They have set a goal to be the top readers in the school by the end of the year. They encourage me to be a better teacher, just as I encourage them.
