The students at my school come from a variety of cultures, low-income families, and hard-working, middle-class families, which therefore results in plenty of hardships for them daily. This being said though, they are incredibly resilient. They are dedicated with wonderful attitudes, despite their disadvantages. The struggles they overcome are more than many adults can handle, but they do so with a smile on their faces.
School wide we use Cougar Cash as a positive reinforcement for positive behavior throughout our school.
When teacher and staff seeing students being helpful, working together, being successful, they are given a dollar of Cougar Cash. Each Friday, the Cougar Store is open so students can cash in their Cougar Cash for various prizes. This project would allow us to restock our store to bring more incentives and rewards our students are interested in!
