This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello everyone, my class is a 3rd grade Spanish bilingual classroom who has curious thinkers and young activists. My students are constantly growing their brains with academics and growing their empathy with peoples experiences around their community and the world. The books listed will help in continuing our exploration of Black and LGBTQ history in America. Revolutionary literacy is very important in helping students build empathy, social justice, and activism.

Our students are the future and they need to be nourished with food for their bodies and food (literacy)for their brains.

Help me give my students some snacks that fuel their bodies to keep learning. I have also included other materials needed to be restocked in our classroom. Thank you!
