My Project

I like to prepare materials in advance for my classes. These resources would be used by the entire 1st grade, although designed with our special education students in mind.

I have found noise cancelling headphones to be effective for various types of learners.

The ones I had became worn over the past few years and will not last another school year. Having a few pairs on hands allows for access at any time, to be stored in accessible areas using these color coded baskets.

Additionally we print out and laminate many anchor charts, word cards, as well as picture schedules for our special education and ENL (English as a Second Language Students) so that they will last, can be written on, and wiped off as needed.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
