My Project

My students spend a lot of time in my classroom as it's become like a second home for many of them. You will find kids relaxing at lunch, after school, even before school in our calm library, rehearsing together, and hanging out. I have a care closet for my students to meet needs that they may have for hygiene, mental or physical health, hunger etc.

Please help me restock needed items in the care closet, particularly snacks, band aids, and shirts (that I'll put the drama logo on and students can wear in lieu of a uniform shirt.) Helping students stay in class by being in uniform (not getting dress coded), or feeling great about themselves because they had the chance to do their hair and make sure they got ready for the day sets my kids up for success academically is so importantly to me.

If students' physical, safety, social, and self-esteem needs are met students will will have a higher motivation to learn, therefore, higher success. Thank you for helping me meet some of my students' needs and set them up for even more success!
