Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The girls at my school were so appreciative and excited about creating their own personal period pouches. The pouches hold needed feminine essentials like pads, tampons, deodorant, wipes, Chapstick and hand sanitizer. My goal is to equip every girl in my school with a pouch as needed. This project is a restock of feminine products needed in order to equip girls with their own personal pouches. The snacks like chips, candy, cookies, Pop Tarts, and water are also essential because students sometimes need a snack to get through the day. Providing students with basic needs like feminine products and snacks really makes a difference in their learning.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
