My Project

Our Classroom Dojo Store needs a restock. We are in need of some of our most commonly purchased store items. That means we need USB Mice for our laptops, small notebooks, mechanical pencils, snacks, small fidget tools and a few other small items.

The students in our classes earn Class Dojo points for their smart answers, for their hard work, for their consideration and cooperation, and their service to the Learning Community.

They can spend these points in the store to purchase these and many other things. The saving and spending of points is an authentic lesson on financial literacy as well as incentive for positive academic and behavioral choices. The store is student-run (one of the aforementioned services). In addition to helping their peers shop and check out, the store managers also report what items are in demand and need restocking. Stocking a classroom store with desirable items that students ranging in age from 9-11 want is quite challenging.
