My Project

This new furniture will add a spark that is needed to the small classroom space we currently have for our special education students at this time. It is important to show these students that they are important and their learning space is important also.

Being able to move helps many student with ADHD, Autism and other learning disabilities stay focused and on task.

The standing desks I have requested are very important for those students that may not be able to sit in one place for an extended amount of time. The privacy screens will help students stay focused on their task at hand. Students in the resource room sometimes want to know what others are doing and this can be very distracting to everyone. Privacy screens will help them to focus on what is right in front of them. Anytime there is a need in my classroom I know I can turn to DonorsChoose to make my needs into reality. It is because of donors like you that my students will get what they need to help them be successful students at AOBI and beyond!
