My Project

We are an urban school with a diverse student body. One out of three of our city's residents were born outside the United States. Thus many of my students are either foreign born or first generation Americans with strong ties to their parents' homeland.

Representation matters.

For years I have been flying flags of various nations in my classroom. With this project I hope to add a few more flags to the collection. The majority of the flags in this project are students' requests. I know that they will be delighted to see their heritage honored by means of your donation.
