Some are reluctant; they think it is wrong to deface a book. I tell them that in college my professors used to bring to class books they had heavily marked up. The biggest impact, by volume, has been the folders. Students use the folders to organize their paperwork for our travel program. \r\n\r\nThis year the students are going to Rome and Athens. The amount of paperwork involved is frightening. But thanks to you and to Donors Choose, the students have a place to keep their materials together. I use different colored paper (also thanks to you) so that we can all easily identify the various documents.\r\n\r\nThe jell pens are a hit. The students like to take notes with different colors, and I use them when grading. The students notice when it's not red ink :-)\r\n\r\nLastly, the bandages and paperclips are handy when needed. And the HDMI cable better allows me to use my classroom speakers.
