My Students

Our garden club members are hardworking and creative. They diligently planted and harvested a winter garden before our Christmas break. And, they have big plans for our Spring Garden. Part of those plans include writing a bi-monthly article for our school newsletter and social media. These kids are awesome at taking photos and reporting on the happenings in our garden.

My Project

Part of our Computer Literacy instruction deals with responsibly using technology. This includes social media. Our gardeners will use this tablet to construct news pieces with photos of their activities in the garden.

The photos and articles will be posted to our school's social media sites by our gardeners using this tablet.

Being able to include information researched and written to accompany their photos will add another level of ownership for our garden club members with regards to all they do to keep our garden growing in size and digital literacy.
