Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are full of excitement for learning. They love to learn through movement, songs, exploration, and hands-on experiments and materials. Students in my class are valued, and we promote a learning environment where students learn to value each other.
Many of my students are English language learners and come from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
However, this is not an obstacle to success in our classroom. We build a classroom community where all students can learn, succeed, and celebrate each others' strengths.
My Project
Now that we are over halfway done with the school year, my students' basic supplies are becoming used up, dried up, broken, or lost. They could use a fresh box of crayons, new pencils, and glue sticks to keep them learning.
New basic supplies will keep my students engaged in their learning and motivated to do their best in class each day!
When my students get new supplies, they are so excited! Their faces beam and they feel special and taken care of. Thank you for your consideration to get these new supplies to my hard-working students.
