This means that we are close to having all students on machines at the same time! Right now, we have creation stations that students rotate through. \r\n\r\nWhen I told the students that donors have given money, so we can have new sewing machines, they squealed with joy! Opening up a brand new box that contains a sewing machine is like Christmas morning! \r\n\r\nSince our goal is to have a full class of sewing machines with carrying cases, I will be posting a new request for donations. Our goal is to have at least 10, so each pair of students can share one machine between them. Maybe one day we can get 20, one for each student. The students are currently working on taking thrifted pillows and making them into tote bags.
