Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are predominantly English Language Learners who miss being in school. Their social environment changed overnight. They are at home longing for some outside interactions. Waiting for their teacher to show up in their living room, to teach them exciting lessons.
During these unprecedented times my first graders are restless, and confused.
They want to be in school doing what they love to do, playing and relating to world around them.
My Project
It is my intention to create a synchronous and asynchronous learning environment. My first graders will have access to recorded lessons at all times. My digital resources will be shared and viewed with all my students.
The requested materials will provide digital access for all my students during Remote Learning.
I will be covering my living room walls with erasable sheets. The dry erase sheets will be supporting my daily oral language, Math, Science and Social Studies.
I am confident that as we continue to experience school closure and social distancing, I will be improving my delivery of synchronous and asynchronous instruction.
