My Students

Our first grade classroom is filled with kiddos who love coming to school each day and are always very eager to learn. Our day is filled with learning activities that are both fun and engaging. We are a classroom with diverse academic, emotional, and behavioral needs. We love to work together as a family and always try to do our personal best. We love to learn through technology, movement, songs, videos, hands-on activities, teamwork, stories, and so much more!

My Project

What better way to relax and read a book than in a comfy spot in the classroom. This project will allow my students to have a comfy and relaxing reading area in our first grade classroom. My students love to relax and read good books. They enjoy reading all throughout the day... during any downtime, after finishing an assignment, and even at recess! They also love having different seating options. Our current reading area has some crate seats and a tent that have seen better days, so I would love to switch it up and add these seating options to it!
