This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students I serve this school year are 90% economically disadvantaged. My students are striving to be the best version of themselves and they are eager to learn Social Studies for the first time.

With my students eager to learn, I would love to provide as many resources and flexible seating options as I possibly can to enhance lessons and activities.

I look forward to one of my most successful school years I've ever had as a middle school teacher.

My Project

Flexible seating will allow my students to learn in comfort and not feel confined to traditional desks. My students enjoy the current flexble seating we have but only five students benefit per class each day.

Studies have shown that when students are comfortable in a learning environment they have much more success.

Flexible seating will bring comfort to our classroom environment in more than one way. They are not only comfortable but it motivates students to get to class on time and enjoy the various seating arrangements.

We are hopeful that with your donations the table and chairs will make my students happy!
