The snacks selected will be used as motivational treats when students are sharing out during discussion, if we are playing various academic games such as KAHOOT, Gimkit, and Quizlet. Students love to be rewarded when they are giving their best effort and as a teacher, I get satisfaction from their participation. The clipboards will be used for gallery walks and around the room activities when students are walking or in the hallway but also for my flexible seating area. (couch and chairs) Dry erase markers will be used for review activities while they use personal dry erase boards. Glue sticks will help keep their interactive notebooks up to date throughout the school year. Also, it will be used to complete various projects over the Westward Expansion, the Industrial Revolution, and the Civil War.
