My Students

I teach special education at a Title I school in NV. Our school has a one hundred percent free and reduced-price lunch rate in Nevada's primary autism classroom. My students range from kindergarten through second grade.

Just as the autism spectrum is varied, so are my students' abilities.

Some students have subtle motor control issues, while others are technology gurus. My school​ district and school are very diverse, and we work to meet those diverse learners' needs.

We rock the spectrum!

My Project

In our autism classroom, many of our students need items to work towards each. We need to do a refresh of items after the last two years and consistently clean many of our items that are starting to fall apart.

We need new reinforcements and the storage to go along with them.

We need new trucks, My Little Pony favorites, and storage to keep the room organized.

We also need more outside toys for wellness breaks. Many students are happy to just play in the dirt each day. Our big item of a bookshelf it keeps our classroom as organized as possible. #RocktheSpectrum #Reinforcements
