My Project

We are excited to welcome our students back into the building. With their in-person attendance comes the need to have a refrigerator to help them to have a place to place their food and drinks. With more extended class periods, students are faced with staying focused while hungry. Often the only meals they get during the day are what the school provides. I have a pantry with items they can heat and eat in my classroom. My students always need a quick snack in the afternoon after a long day of learning. Students will be able to receive snacks while in class. We have students that don't eat school lunch due to various allergies, so their lunch can go in the refrigerator until lunchtime.

Students need a mini refrigerator that is big enough to keep in the classroom to keep snacks and drinks cold until the afternoon.

Our school only serves milk for a drink in the cafeteria. I will keep other drink options such as apple juice, water, and Gatorade in the refrigerator that will be available for my students who become thirsty during the day. Having refrigerator students will allow me quicker access without leaving the classroom.
