Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our paper towel dispensers have been so helpful this year. We are preparing for next year and requesting more dispensers, and of course, paper towels to refill them.

Unfortunately, we are oftentimes short staffed, and paper towels in the students' bathrooms do not get refilled throughout the day.

Students come to class after using the bathroom and need to dry their hands. Students who are not in my class will also stop by because I keep the dispenser close to the door and they know they are there. Students have been very thankful that they can come grab a paper towel when they need one. The Kleenex brand are just way better quality than the non-absorbent, rough, brown ones that are sometimes provided at school.
