This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When listening to and learning about music, students in our elementary school are realizing that when they have the chance to play an instrument, the recorder, they will learn the notes, of course, and the be able to play from the heart and not just a bunch of notes on a page. Those who have already been able to do this because of some recorders that we already have are amazed how it affects them and those around them in their day to day lives. Many have already told me that when they get to the middle school that they want to continue in making music for themselves and others also!
