This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is in the midst of rebuilding our varsity football team. Not just rebuilding the players, but the equipment necessary for a competitive team. Weight training and study hall is essential to our goal. 2021-2022 was the first full year that we could examine the effects of COVID pandemic on the mental health to our athletes. The lockdown has had an impact on their overall mood, personality and resilience.

It has been proven that working out with auditory stimulation improves your mood, helps your body exercise more efficiently, and cuts down on your awareness of exertion.

The right settings and equipment also lead to longer workouts. When you do any type of intense physical activity, it causes blood to flow to the brain. With just 20 minutes of exercise before studying can improve your concentration and help you focus your learning.

The equipment that we have requested can be used in the weight room and study hall to do everything from protecting the digital equipment we have from moisture to communicating effectively between the coaches and players when we are in different areas of the weight room and/or study hall.
