My Project

Teaching an energetic and creative group of students is the highlight of every day. In our Dual Language English Language Arts classroom, we strive to foster a love for literacy, critical thinking, and artistic expression. My students are in grades 2-5 and each grade comes to me for an hour of English instruction. They are eager to learn, share their ideas, and grow as young authors. Many of them thrive when they have hands-on tools that help them organize their thoughts and take ownership of their learning journey.

This year, our school is diving into the exciting new Arts & Letters curriculum, and to make the most of this engaging program, my students need the right materials to capture their learning.

I am requesting half-sized composition books for each student. These compact journals are the ideal size for elementary student desks and are perfect for daily writing prompts, creative responses, and reflections tied to our new curriculum.

Additionally, I am requesting printable labels to create quick-reference stickers for each student. These stickers will feature essential grade-level resources. As we progress through the year, students can easily place these reference sheets directly into their journals, giving them independent, immediate access to the tools they need right at their fingertips.

With your help, my students will have their very own journals to track their growth all year long, paired with the reference tools necessary to build confidence in their writing. Thank you so much for supporting our classroom and investing in the next generation of creators and thinkers!
