This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their willingness to show up each day ready to try, even when things are challenging. They are curious, creative, and full of potential, and they take pride in their work when they have the right tools to succeed. Even small moments—like a student finally feeling confident enough to write an answer or complete an assignment—make a big difference in their growth.

Having enough pencils and lined paper may seem simple, but for my students, these resources are essential.

Pencils give them the ability to write, erase, revise, and keep improving their thinking without fear of making mistakes. Lined paper helps them organize their ideas, practice neat handwriting, and complete assignments in a structured way that supports learning. With these basic supplies, every student can fully participate in lessons, complete written work, and build the academic habits they need for long-term success.
