This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the best!

I have the best kiddos in my classroom.

I love watching them develop social skills and I see so many of them helping others and being kind. The year is off to a fantastic start and I am loving my first year teaching in this district.

In my classroom, we have students of many abilities. Some have special needs and others are neurotypical peer models who naturally teach others valuable skills from social to academic. We have high-quality group lessons with many hands-on and interactive features, as well as time in centers and small groups.

My Project

I have a fun and interactive classroom that is an enriched learning environment! I have many exciting centers for my PreK students such as a transportation station, Dr. Seuss library, dollhouse, and sand and water sensory play bins. I have been wanting to upgrade my writing center to make it more engaging for students. It is important that students are excited to learn to identify letters and trace/copy letters, etc. to get them ready for kindergarten.

Learning letters must be fun!

The magnetic writing pads, interactive letter chart and workbooks, and letter carpet will help create an inviting and exciting writing station for my students! My hope is that this will quickly become a highly sought after center.
